The CX21C is a sleek and modern classically styled cycling shoe that gives a low-key look without sacrificing comfort or performance. Built on our Competition last and taking design cues from the CX238, the CX21C is a great choice for those riders who appreciate the adjustable fit and secure comfort that laces have to offer.

The single piece upper is padded as it wraps your foot like a second skin, giving that legendary Lake comfort. The heel grip liner and the full carbon sole ensure that every pedal stroke is converted into performance and power.

CX/TX Competition Last –With a profile specifically designed for very high-cadence riding & higher pressure, our Competition last features a more curved profile than the Sport last. The main differences include increased toe pitch & heel lift, a tighter heel & a slightly wider ball girth to allow the foot to expand under high pedaling pressures.

Outsole

Our Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fiber Sole ensures maximum power transfer, with stiffness and security for every pedal stroke. Available in a 3-hole cleat pattern, you get great options for cleat positioning, helping you to find your ideal pedal action.

Lining

Clarino Microfiber comes with an internal gripper heel liner helping to maintain stability. This ultra minimal upper is padded and wraps around your foot with ultimate adjustability from the laces, maximizing comfort and a secure fit. A minimal toe bumper adds protection to the front of the shoe, while the feet benefit from a naturally formed toe box.

Closure

Durable and easily replaceable Laces that offer unlimited and ultimate customization for fit and comfort, alongside a classic cycling shoe style. With ultimate adjustability, the laces wrap the single piece upper like a second skin.
